Anti-Slavery Statement

Anti-Slavery Statement for Capital for Life

This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 of the United Kingdom government. It constitutes Capital for Life's anti-slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 2023.

Our Business

Capital for Life is a marketing company based in the British Virgin Islands. We provide marketing services to clients in life insurance, trust services, financing and administration.

Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains include suppliers of life insurance, structuring of offshore trusts and companies, financing and capital, and wealth management.

Our Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. We have a zero tolerance approach to modern slavery and are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships.

We implement systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our business or supply chains. We mandate compliance with our values and policies for all persons working for us or on our behalf in any capacity, including employees at all levels, directors, officers, agency workers, contractors, external consultants, third-party representatives and business partners.

Due Diligence Processes

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we implement due diligence processes in relation to modern slavery and human trafficking for all new suppliers as part of our contracting processes.

We conduct risk assessments to determine which parts of our business and which of our suppliers are most at risk of modern slavery so that efforts can be focused on those areas.

Suppliers that are considered to be high risk are targeted for audits.

Training

To maintain awareness and ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains, we provide training to our staff as part of our broader ethics training program.

Our Effectiveness in Combating Slavery and Human Trafficking

We monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the actions we have taken to ensure that slavery and/or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain by regularly reviewing our policies and processes. We report on modern slavery risks and progress towards our goals in our annual report.

This statement has been reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors on 24 September 2023 and signed by a director.
