Meet Our Founder, Carlton.

Drawing upon over 27 years of experience, Carlton Crabbe currently leads as CEO of Capital for Life, an international life insurance solutions firm specialising in tax-advantaged retirement and estate planning strategies, as well as cross-border tax and structuring solutions for high-net-worth individuals, families, and entrepreneurs worldwide.

Capital for Life provides specialised life insurance products and execution support to over 30 financial advisory firms, private banks, tax and legal professionals globally. Drawing from our experience, we have delivered customised life and investment solutions to hundreds of high-net-worth clients, and these are available to individuals in over 220 countries.

Previously, Carlton held senior roles at Barclays Private Bank focused on developing their life insurance and financing services. He also worked at Grant Thornton, a leading UK and international tax advisory partnership.

Teaching and Coaching

Based on his first hand experience, Carlton has spent the last 8 years coaching and training financial advisors on various life insurance topics. The coaching focuses on providing advisers with a strong foundation in life insurance concepts, products, and sales strategies. Carlton draws upon his extensive experience in the insurance and wealth management industry to offer real-world examples and insights that advisers can apply in their day-to-day practices. Feedback from our advisers indicates Capital for Life's training has helped them better understand available solutions, gain confidence in client presentations and increase sales. Carlton aims to share his knowledge and experiences to support advisors' professional development while ensuring clients receive the optimal coverage.

Carlton has also authored an online and coaching course for financial professionals called ’Universal Life Insurance’, an accredited course by the Certified Certification Service – the world's leading and largest independent assessment body for Continuous Professional Development.

Private Clients

In addition to training financial advisors,Carlton continues to personally advise a handful of ultra-high-net-worth individuals each year. He takes time to understand each client's unique needs and goals, delivering customised solutions tailored to their situations. With over 27 years navigating simple to highly complex client cases, Carlton provides insight and solutions into wealth management challenges.
